<span class="reference-text">The second column is largely in agreement with the first until the generation concerning Cermait son of the Dagda. Moreover, there is an obvious anachronism of having the Dagda come some thirteen generations after Eremon, whereas the annals and Lebor Gabala are in agreement that it was the Dagda's grandsons--Mac Cumhail, Mac Cecht and Mac Coll (the Coll of this genealogy) who lost Ireland to the sons of Mil Espain.</span>
